I recently saw some handmade barrettes on this blog. (She's got some other good ideas so check it out if you have time). I thought they looked so cute and wanted to make some for Taeya. I found the clips on Amazon and the rest of the supplies at Wal-Mart. I don't have a craft store near me so I have to make due however I can. :) Even though I didn't have a ton of options, I managed to make some adorable little barrettes that I have been having fun putting in Taeya's fine hair. Some of the light pink ones were made by me and some were made for Taeya by her young friends mentioned in the previous post. All of the barrettes that are on the more colorful side of the strip were ones I made tonight with new ribbon I found today.

very cute!!
careful with the buttons though, I've found buttons in bradleys diaper that he picked off of barettes a few times... oops!
I could send you some links on making bows if you want. :)
Wow! Your barrettes are super cute! You've totally inspired me to make some for my girls!
so so cute! I want to make some now!
Love the barrettes! I've had the hardest time finding alligator clips, but I'm going to try a beauty supply shop and our new Hobby Lobby when I get a chance.
I have a few that I got super cheap, but it'll be nice to have more that match her outfits. Michelle looks so cute in barrettes (and so does Taeya!).
These are so cute. I love the barrettes!!!! Any that you want to send me would be awesome. Maybe some bright colored ones and some white or soft colored ones too. They are great.
I totally missed a bunch of your blogs and had lots of fun getting caught up on them. The swimming pics were lots of fun. I enjoy seeing my sweet little niece!!
