The UPS and downs of Pregnancy

Well, as one of my pregnant friends wrote, "I am ready to begin enjoying my pregnancy." Not that I haven't been excited to be pregnant of course, but I am finally seeing the light at the end of the morning sickness tunnel. I am now throwing up just a couple of times a week and have been feeling much better overall throughout the day. I am also not so tired that I have to take naps on every one of my lunch breaks at work. My tummy is just starting to show my pregnancy with a bit of a pudge under my bellybutton. So far, I'm still on a downward trend with my weight which I'm fine with as my pants are actually getting looser before they start to get tighter. On Sunday I will be 12 weeks already! Only 1 more week after that and I'm officially in the second trimester. Fun, fun, fun!

i'm so glad to hear that you're beginning to feel better! for me the progression was very gradual, it took longer than i anticipated to feel "normal" again. but oh, life is so much better when you feel good!

Its so nice to be able to enjoy being pregnant and not feeling miserable all the time. Enjoy the loose pants part of life right now cause you won't have that for a very long time. It is definitely worth it though. Praying for you all the time. Love ya.

I'm glad that you are starting to feel better. Enjoy your loose pants now, it won't last long! :) The strawberry festival looked like it was a lot of fun. I think marriage is awesome because you have a built-in best friend! :)

Hey it's your long, lost Aunt -- your comment got me to finally post again! So glad you are starting to feel slightly better. Hope you get to thoroughly enjoy that "golden trimester"! :)
The girls have been enjoying your reports of the fun things in Colorado & are looking forward to a visit. We'll have to figure out how to work one in, especially when there's a cute little great-niece or great-nephew to see. :)

Glad you are feeling better - I loved 2nd trimester and am heading into 3rd - like your aunt said - enjoy the 2nd one :):):) Naps are still good to me - I love them :):) And I can attest to what they say - the loose pants thing quickly passes - - - -
