Guess What????

I got a job!!!!
I will be working as a receptionist at a vet clinic/kennel/groomer. I am very excited about all aspects of this job. I will be working 10 hour days so I will only have to work 4 days a week. I applied for this job while still in CA but the office manager wanted to interview me in person so I went in today and before I left, he offered me the job. I am super excited about this and I hope it is everything I think it will be. I am looking forward to working with animals again. I begin on Wednesday of this week. I'll let you know how it goes after I begin.

Yay! When I saw the picture of the puppy and the title that said "Guess What?" I thought you were going to say you got a dog! But this is just as good! Congrats...working with animals is similar to working with kids. I'm sure you'll be able to use a lot of your teacher skills!

I think you'll be a great vet clinic person :) You have such a big heart for people and animals - all that needed for such a job. I'm excited for you and look forward to reading great stories about your job there. That's an adorable photo.

Michelle, I'm not actually a vet. I'm just working AT a vet. :) I do get to see all of the animals and they enter and exit. We do boarding, grooming and hospital appointments. It's awesome.

What a transformation. From school teacher to front desk pet expert. Who know what is next for such an adventure seeking couple. Perhaps a new career?
