Today's Ultrasound

We're almost to the 36 week mark! Today I had another ultrasound with another doctor in the office. She asked me if we were supposed to do a growth check today. I was honest with her and told her my doctor was planning on waiting until my appointment next week but that I was anxious to find out whether she was growing. The doctor was very kind and said she'd do the growth check today as it would just take a few minutes. Basically, the news is much like before. Everything looks good except she is still behind on her growth. She HAS grown since the last growth check at the end of Nov. According to the ultrasound, she now weighs about 4 lbs 5 oz. She's about 3 1/2 weeks behind on her growth and is in the "less than 3%" as far as size goes. We're just going to keep on keeping on as long as we're able. We trust that the Lord is holding our little one in His hands and that he will protect her as she finishes growing in my womb. Please keep praying that she will be strong and healthy when she is born.

She's just small as far as we can tell. She is definitely still bum down. Next Wednesday, if she's still breech, we'll be setting up an appointment to do the aversion in the hospital right after Christmas. I hope you beat me too.

I'm glad everything looks okay. We'll continue to lift her up in prayer (and you also!). As SJ said, rest and just take it easy these next few weeks. Try to rest up before your world is turned up side down (in a good way). :)

Yes, WCS is so right - in the best way your world will never be the same - so rest now :):) Fun times ahead but it takes a lot of energy :)
