Taeya came down with a runny nose on July 4th and it has progressively been getting worse. She had a slight cough when at the doctor's on Monday and today she's been hacking and gagging. :( My poor baby! It's so sad seeing her sick. She was kind enough to share what she has with me so I've been sick with a head cold since Sunday. I feel HORRIBLE, I can't imagine how sweet little Taeya is feeling. We're living with a humidifier, an elevated mattress (for Taeya), a nose sucker, tylenol, motrin and lots and lots of tissues. I just hope we're fully recovered VERY soon. I have an appointment to take Taeya in to the doctor's tomorrow if she's still coughing. I had one this morning but canceled it because by the time she was supposed to go in, she was hardly coughing anymore. Isn't that the way it always is?

Hope she is better soon - we know those colds are no fun!!! I think when Allie had her first cold she slept elevated on me for several nights - - - so praying she is on the mend soon! (And you too!)
If it's any consolation -- usually babies feel the sickness a lot less severe than we feel it. So if you feel awful she probably doesn't feel as bad as you. And I can relate to having to cancel the appointment because the ailment disappeared THAT day :)
I've been sick since Sunday too with the same thing! Isn't it awful?! I didn't babysit this week because I didn't want to get the babies sick...I can't even imagine how it must be taking care of your little one. Hope you all return to health soon. I think I still might have a few days of this! :(
